Registration for the second edition of Sisu in 2022 starts this Tuesday (28)

Registration for this year’s second edition of the Unified Selection System (Sisu) begins this Tuesday (28), on the portal Single Access from the Ministry of Education (MEC)and can be held until 11:59 pm on July 1st.

MEC will offer 65,932 places for admission to 73 public higher education institutions. There are more than 2,000 undergraduate courses.

The ten courses with the highest number of vacancies are, in this order: pedagogy, administration, mathematics, biological sciences, chemistry, law, physics, medicine, civil engineering and electrical engineering.

The total number of undergraduate courses with vacancies is 2,043. For medicine alone, there are 1,583 opportunities.

On the Single Access portal, it is possible to consult vacancies by type of competition, courses and shifts, institutions and location. The states that have the most vacancies are Rio de Janeiro, with 13,249; Minas Gerais, with 8,655; Paraná, with 6,692; and Bahia, with 5,968.

The institutions with the most offer are: Universidade Tecnológica Federal do Paraná (UTFPR); Fluminense Federal University (UFF); Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ); Federal University of Maranhão (UFMA); and the State University of Paraíba (UEPB).

Requirement

To participate in Sisu, the candidate will be required to have taken the National High School Exam (Enem) in 2021 and obtained a grade greater than zero in the essay test and has not participated as a coach.

The result of the selection process will be announced on July 6th. Enrollment or academic registration must be done from July 13 to 18. The deadline for interested parties to express interest in joining the waiting list will be from 6 to 18 July.

Candidates are selected for the course options indicated in the act of registration, according to the best grade obtained in the most recent edition of Enem, which, in this edition, will be the 2021.
