At the beginning of July this year, Chery introduced the successor to Chery Tiggo 7 Pro, which was named Chery Tiggo 7 Plus. The car received an updated radiator grill, a modified bumper and T-shaped daytime running lights.
Now there are high-quality photos of the interior and details about the car. Despite the prefix Plus in the name, the car did not receive a third seat or an increased wheelbase, the dimensions did not change either. The main feature of Chery Tiggo 7 Plus is the updated interior design. The new car received a large panel with two 12.3-inch screens instead of a separate display for the multimedia system and digital instrument cluster.

The new Lion 4.0 media system supports voice control and enhanced online capabilities. The center console and tunnel have also been redesigned, and the new climate control knobs will delight those who don’t like the touch buttons. If you look from the outside, in addition to the changes listed in the first paragraph, the car also received fake air ducts on the front fenders and 19-inch wheels.
The car is equipped with the same 147 hp 1.5-liter engine, which is now complemented by a 48-volt starter-generator. This lightweight hybrid system, equipped with a CVT, boosts the crossover’s power to around 170bhp. There is also a 197-horsepower 1.6-liter version with a robot. According to Chery, the 1.6-liter version accelerates from 0 to 100 km / h in 8.28 seconds and has a consumption of 6.6 liters per 100 km.

In China, Chery Tiggo 7 Plus will be sold in parallel with Chery Tiggo 7 Pro, sales will start in the fall. The price will be higher, but it is not yet known how much. It should be noted that Chery Tiggo 7 Pro is very popular in Russia and other CIS countries.
