Alfonso Herrera provoked a negative reaction from “Rebel” (RBD) fans on his social networks after appearing in a video promoting his new film, “Rebel Moon”.
The actor made a reference to “Rebel” when promoting Zack Snyder’s film, which will be available on Netflix on December 22nd.
“Hello! I’m Alfonso Herrera and, yes, I’m a rebel… in ‘Rebel Moon’. Don’t miss it, December 22nd, on Netflix”, said the actor in a video published on his social networks.
The publication received different negative comments from fans of the band RBD. “There is always someone who denies what really made him famous,” wrote one internet user.
Other comments said: “When it’s convenient, use the name Rebelde, right?” or “How dare you?”

Absence on tour
The actor was the only member of the band RBD not to participate in the “Soy Rebelde Tour” shows.
He joined the other members, Anahí, Dulce María, Maitê Perroni, Christian Chávez and Christopher Von Uckermann, who decided to go on a commemorative tour 15 years after the end of the band.
However, at the time, he revealed that he was at a different stage in life and had different goals for his career.
Currently, Herrera is one of the most respected and successful Mexican actors in the country and, for many years, his career was marked by the soap opera “Rebel” from the broadcaster Televisa.
