Rare, informative and electrifying: Joseph Quinn describes “war time”

Highlighting military protocols and the relationship between soldiers the movie “War Time” depicts a Royal mission of a Navy Special Forces Platoon (SEAL) In the Iraq war, “No dramatization and fictional elements” according to the actors themselves.

In the plot, a group is sent to the city of Ramadi, Iraq, for a mission, but it ends up falling into an ambush. This makes the soldiers start an exit protocol while being attacked by the opponents – the viewer immerses the conflict marked by shots, shouts and rules.

Names like D’pharaoh woon-a-tai (“Reservation dogs”), Cosmo Jarvis (“Xogum: the glorious saga of Japan”), Joseph Quinn (“Stranger Things”), Kit Connor (“Heartstopper”), Charles Melton (“Secrets of a scandal”) and Willter (“The Bear”) make up the title cast.

The film was written and directed by Alex Garland (“Ex_Machina: Artificial Instinct” and “Civil War”) and by the veteran Ray Mendoza who lent the memories for production. In an interview with CNN the military explained what motivated him to tell this specific chapter of his history in the United States Armed Forces.

“War Time” hits Brazilian theaters on April 17.
