A heavy rain hit the city of São Paulo and the Greater ABC on Monday afternoon (31). Several flooding points were recorded. One of the main roads, the Avenida of the States practically “disappeared” due to the transhipment of Tamanduaateí.

According to the Civil Defense, besides the Tamanduita, were recorded flooding at the Guarara and the Corumbé River.
In the last 3 hours alone, there were 131 millimeters of rain in Mauá, 84 millimeters in Santo André and 52 millimeters in São Bernardo do Campo, which caused the rivers of the region.
The Civil Defense sent teams to the region.
Images also show flooding at Celso Daniel of CPTM station, which interrupted the circulation of the trains.

In the capital, Ipiranga alerted by the imminent overflow of the Ribeirão dos Meninos, at the time of Estrada das Teá, borders with São Caetano do Sul.
