A cold front that advances from Argentina and Uruguay should intensify moisture and cold air in part of Brazil in early April. Next week, the system will cause a drop in temperatures in the southern region and parts of Mato Grosso and Mato Grosso do Sul.
According to Climatempo first half of the month will be marked by a period of rainfall in the north that should mainly affect areas of Amazonas, Pará and Amapá. In the Northeast, the city of Salvador may have episodes of heavy rain.
Also according to forecasts, rain in both regions should remain throughout April and is due to the maintenance of the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ZCIT).
Due to increased South Atlantic temperature, low atmospheric pressure systems and more moisture evaporation for the atmosphere, rain conditions can form on the south and southeast coast of the country.
There are also possibilities of frost in the south at the end of the first half. Meteorologists point out probability of cooling in the south-central of Brazil. Still, periods with low temperatures will be short.
Still according to Climatempo the month should end with a volume of rain just below average in most regions. Nevertheless, the south should face heavy rain, including areas of Rio Grande do Sul, forecast of above average rainfall in part of the region.

At the end of the month, the forecast indicates the passage of a cold air mass of polar origin. The system should be stronger and acting in more areas of the country. It is expected to fall accentuated at temperatures in the southern region and even in the Southeast and Midwest.
Even with the arrival of cold fronts during the month, according to the Climatempo the forecast is that April will end with above average temperatures in most of Brazil.
