AMD has prepared several new budget processors that will impose competition on inexpensive and quite popular Intel Core i5 and Core i3 series models from the Alder Lake family.

According to the source, four such CPUs will debut today:
- Ryzen 5 5600 for $200;
- Ryzen 5 5500 for $160;
- Ryzen 5 4600G for $155;
- Ryzen 5 4500 for $130.
All of them are six-core and multi-threaded. The TDP of all is 65W, but cache sizes and frequencies vary. Also new today is the $300 8-core, 16-thread Ryzen 7 5700X, clocked at 3.4-4.6GHz. In fact, this is a custom analogue of the Ryzen 7 5800 processor, which is available only to system integrators. At the other end of the line is the brand new Ryzen 3 4100 quad-core, eight-thread CPU, priced at just $100 and hitting 4.0GHz.

Finally, the cost of the top 8-core and 16-thread Ryzen 7 5800X3D with 96 MB of cache has been confirmed. It will go on sale April 20 for $450.
