QatarGate: Moroccan spy targeted by Belgian authorities’ investigation

In the case of QatarGate, a Moroccan spy is at the center of the Belgian authorities’ investigation. He is a shadowy figure with a coordinating role in the corruption network that stretches from Qatar and Morocco to Italy, Poland and Belgium. Politico in a report even reveals that he was not unknown to the French and Spanish secret services.

This is the Moroccan Mohamed Belares – a man of the secret services of Morocco – with the code name M118.

He is particularly well-known in the European Secret Services with activity in Spain and France in the past – It seems that he even cooperated with the French authorities on terrorism matters.

In QatarGate it seems that he is the link of Antonio Panzeri with the Moroccan secret services.

Morocco is coming more and more to the fore. As with Qatar, the network extended to Italy and Belgium, but also to Poland it seems.

He had therefore undertaken to fulfill Morocco’s goal, the approach of MEPs.

While it is considered that he may also be the key person for the big question… the course of the money and the identification of all the movements that were made.
