So far, PT has not yet decided on the names that will compose the ex-mayor’s ticket. To CNN, coordinators of Haddad’s campaign say they are on hold.

São Paulo is expected to be resolved at the end of this month. This is because, until now, they are still trying to convince the former governor of São Paulo, Márcio França (PSB) to give up the dispute. The priority of the choice is for France, who, by resigning, would leave the road on the left free for Haddad. Activist Guilherme Boulos (Psol) decided to leave the dispute and help the party in the dispute for the Chamber, with the approval of PT to receive support as a candidate for mayor in 2024.

At PSB, a name already considered for Fernando Haddad’s vice is that of the former mayor of Campinas, Jonas Donizette. In recent days, PT members have signaled their intention to bring ex-senator and ex-minister of the Environment, Marina Silva (Rede) to the ticket. The possibility is considered remote, say Marina’s allies, who are betting on her candidacy for the Federal Chamber, as a voter leader in São Paulo.

PT and PSB had defined this Wednesday (15) as the deadline to resolve regional impasses. So far, there are problems in São Paulo, Pernambuco, Paraíba, Rio de Janeiro, Espírito Santo, Rio Grande do Sul and Santa Catarina.
