Prince Harry said Britain’s royal family regularly leaks stories about each other, calling it “foul play” in a new trailer released on Monday for Britain’s much-anticipated documentary series. Netflix about him and his wife Meghan.
The first three episodes of the series will be available on Thursday, the streaming service said, amid widespread speculation about what the couple, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, will say about the other royals.
Since Harry and Meghan stepped down from royal duties two years ago and moved to California, they have been scathing criticisms of the British monarchy and accusations of racism.
The prince has suggested in interviews that he now barely speaks to the rest of the family, most notably his father King Charles and his older brother Prince William, heir to the throne.
“Nobody knows the whole truth,” says Harry in the trailer. “We know the whole truth.”

In the short clip, Harry was referring to people who work for the royal families informing journalists about each other, a topic he has previously spoken about.
“There is a family hierarchy. You know there are leaks, but there are also stories planted,” he says. “It is a dirty game.”
A voice in the trailer, which appears to be Harry’s, also refers to the “pain and suffering of women who marry in this institution”, as it shows footage of Harry’s late mother Diana and his sister-in-law Kate.
The last time Harry and Meghan opened up about their relationship with other royals, in an interview with Oprah Winfrey in March 2021, it plunged the institution into one of its biggest crises in recent times.
After the interview, Buckingham Palace promised to seriously address the issues they raised, while pointedly noting that “some recollections may vary”. William also said a few days later: “We are not a racist family.”
Many of the UK’s Sunday newspapers ran stories about the Netflix series, with some unnamed sources accusing the couple of declaring war on Windsor.
