The Federal Highway Police (PRF-SP) seized, on Thursday night (18), 24 packages of skunk, a drug known as super marijuana, during an inspection of a car on the Fernão Dias highway, at the Vargem tollbooth, in the interior of São Paulo. According to agents, four packages contained a new form of the drug, “gelato-flavored gourmet skunk”.
According to the incident report, a team suspected the vehicle due to a prohibited change used in the car's LED lamps. When they approached, the man identified himself as an app driver and owner of the car, but stated that it was in the name of his wife's uncle.
The suspect said that he had brought a passenger to São Paulo and was now returning to Varginha, in Minas Gerais, where he lives. During the inspection of the vehicle, the agents found 20 packages of common skunk, four packages of “gelato-flavored skunk gourmet” and a smaller tablet of hashish. The drugs were hidden in a suitcase and a bag on the floor of the car.
The man confessed to the agents that he would receive R$1,000 to pick up the drugs in Brás, in the center of São Paulo, and take them to the city of Boa Esperança, in Minas Gerais.
The PRF recorded the incident at the Plantão de Bragança Paulista Police Station, where the man should be charged with interstate drug trafficking.
