Porto Alegre: Requests for assistance for families affected by flooding can be made until September 15

Registration in the Unified Registry was extended for another two weeks for citizens of Porto Alegre who were victims of the floods in the first half of 2024. The new deadline for registration is September 15th .

The federal government announced the extension on the night of last Friday (30). Registration is to receive Reconstruction Aid, which allocates R$5,100 to families whose homes were affected by water.

According to the city of Porto Alegre, the register can be done online or at physical locations, from Monday to Friday between 9 am and 5 pm.
