Pope Francis chose to follow “Way of Delivery,” says Cardinal at the Funeral

Pope Francis chose to follow a “way of delivery until the last day of his earthly life,” said Cardinal RE in the pontiff’s homily.

“The last image we have of it, which will remain recorded in our memory, is that of last Sunday, Easter Sunday, when Pope Francis, despite his serious health problems, wanted to give us his blessing from the balcony of St. Peter’s Basilica,” said Re.

In his last appearance, a day before his death, Francis gave the traditional Easter blessing of the balcony of St. Peter’s Basilica, before an enchanted multitude.

“He then descended this square to greet the great crowd gathered for Easter Mass while traveling at PapaMovel convertible,” the cardinal continued

“With our prayers, we now trust the soul of our beloved Pontiff to God, that it may grant it eternal happiness under the brilliant and glorious look of His immense love.”
