Pope Francis’ body will be placed in a coffin at 8 pm, local time (15h of Brasilia), on Monday (21), the Vatican said in a statement.
Cardinal Kevin Joseph Farrell, Vatican’s Camerlengo, who will preside over the certification of Francis’ death and the placement of his body in the coffin.
According to the Vatican, the Pope’s family and several other Vatican authorities will participate in the rite, which will be held in the Domus Sanctae Marthae chapel.
