Poor Juan brings Italian chef Dario Cecchini to the house’s birthday

In August, the restaurant poor Juan , famous for the noble cuts prepared in the Argentinian grill, turns 18 years old. And, to celebrate, the house invites one of the main names in the meat world, the Italian chef Dario Cecchini, for a series of events this month.

The first night of celebrations will be on the day august 18 at Pobre Juan at Shopping Cidade Jardim, in São Paulo, where the entire experience of Officina della Bistecca Dario’s house in Panzano in Chianti, Italy.

The specialty is Bistecca alla Fiorentina, which Dario treats like a majesty. Also on the menu are Dario’s new cut, the Etruscan, Tomahawk’s Italian cousin, and Costata.

“We want to provide the diner with a unique experience, which transports them to the small and cozy village of Panzano. The ambiance and Dario’s own natural performance will set the tone of celebration for this very special night”, explains Luiz Marsaioli, partner at Pobre Juan.

The format is repeated in Poor Juan from VillageMall, in Barra da Tijuca, in Rio de Janeiro, on the night of August 19, and participation in the event takes place with advance reservation through Sympla.

“Il Giro di Dario” ends in São Paulo with a great celebration at the Poor Juan Vila Olimpia where it all started 18 years ago.

With a unique outdoor festival, the house brings Tuscany to São Paulo, transforming the large parking lot attached to the restaurant into an authentic Panzano village.

There will be seven stands spread along its entire length, curated by the executive chef of Pobre Juan, Priscilla God.

Each one with a different gastronomic attraction, contemplating various fire techniques such as grilling, smoking, clothesline and ground fire.

Some typical dishes served in Dario Cecchini’s restaurants will also be present, including Bistecca alla Fiorentina itself. In addition, other surprises will happen during the event.
