The Civil Police fulfill, on the morning of Wednesday (16), arrest warrants against two suspects for the run over and death of a reserve military police officer in São Paulo last night (15).
The 58 -year -old reserve military man died after being run over in the parking lot of Metro Itaquera mall in the east of São Paulo. You suspects were identified as the father and brother of a man killed by the policeman in March 2024 in a traffic discussion.
For the police, the main hypothesis is that the death of the PM was a revenge . The policeman was arrested for the crime.
The operation takes place at addresses in the north of the state capital.
The suspects used a Hyundai Veloster to commit the crime. Images from the mall security circuit show the moment the car runs over the policeman. Then the suspects turn around with the car and pass over the body for the second time. In the escape, they destroyed the gate of the parking lot. See below:
Then the vehicle used in the crime was located and seized on an avenue in the region, and taken to the 24 DP courtyard. According to police, the car belongs to the suspects.
By note, Shopping Metro Itaquera said it is available to the authorities to “collaborate with the clarification of the facts and works normally”.
