A Peruvian police officer dressed as the Christmas character Grinch led a police operation in Lima to dismantle a drug trafficking gang on Friday (20).

The agent, disguised as a famous character created by author Dr Seuss, entered the home of a family of alleged drug traffickers in San Bartolo, south of Lima.
The police unit involved often dresses its officers as famous characters while carrying out operations during holiday periods such as Halloween and Christmas.
The agents also dressed up as superheroes, as well as horror movie characters Freddy Krueger and Jason.
During the operation, the Grinch and other police officers arrested three people allegedly involved in drug trafficking in Lima.
Police said they seized several packages of cocaine and cash in the operation.
