The São Paulo Civil Police arrested the suspect in the theft of a Rolex watch valued at R$200,000, this Thursday (23), in Curitiba, Paraná. The crime took place last Saturday (18), on Avenida Faria Lima, in São Paulo.
Ryan Avanço, 22, was captured by officers from the State Department of Criminal Investigations (DEIC). He was identified as the suspect in the theft of a watch that belonged to the driver of a Lamborghini car, on one of the busiest avenues in São Paulo. In an attempt to avoid the crime, the victim collided with the suspect's motorcycle, who still managed to escape.
On Thursday morning (23), Ryan's lawyer had informed that the suspect would return the watch. However, the defender claimed that the suspect did not intend to surrender.
After obtaining information about the suspect's whereabouts and hiding place, teams from the 1st Heritage Police Station went to the Cajuru neighborhood, in the capital of Paraná, and, with the support of the local Civil Police, managed to arrest Ryan. The images of the action show the moment when the police enter the house and arrest the suspect.
Remember the case
The driver of a Lamborghini was approached by a robber on a motorcycle in traffic on Avenida Brigadeiro Faria Lima. In an attempt to prevent the crime, the victim accelerated the car towards the thief, hitting the motorcycle and a traffic light on the road, which ended up on its side. The front of the Lamborghini was also heavily damaged, but the suspect managed to escape.
