The São Paulo Civil Police postponed the reconstitution of the crime involving the young Vitória Regina de Souza, 17, who died after disappearing while returning home after leaving work in a mall in the city of Cajamar, Greater SP.
At first, the reassembly of the facts that led to the death of the young woman was scheduled for the morning of this Thursday (10).
Now it will be held on the 22nd of this month.
The decision to make the reconstitution complies with a request for the victim’s family defense. Family lawyers consider this stage essential for clarifying the facts especially in the face of contradictions pointed out in the confession of Maicol Sales do Santos the only suspect arrested so far.

Sought, the Secretariat of Public Security reported that the postponement of the reconstitution occurred due to “technical reasons”.
Remember the case
The disappearance and tragic death of Vitória Regina de Sousa, a 17 -year -old girl moved the residents of Cajamar (SP). The story began on February 26, when the girl, after a day at work at a local mall, took the bus back home.
That night Victoria shared text messages with a friend, expressing the fear she felt when she realized she was being followed by two men. Witnesses reported seeing a car with four men following the young woman after she got out of the bus.
After its disappearance, the city came together in incessant searches. Police and family members, supported by various agents, sniffer dogs and drones, sought by victory every corner of the region.
The anguish came to an end on March 5, when Vitória’s body was found in a forest area in Cajamar. The young woman’s body was in advanced state of decomposition and showed signs of violence. The young woman had her head shaved and without her clothes.
THE investigation follows in progress, even after the completion of the Civil Police of São Paulo . This is because exams requested from the Institute of Criminalistics (IC) and the Forensic Medical Institute (IML) have not yet been finalized.
THE Civil Police already indicated Maicol for qualified homicide and corpse concealment after supposed confession . However, the Maicol’s defense vehemently denies confession and claims police coercion according to Maicol’s report to defenders.
