The owner of the bakery that sold a supposedly poisoned pie, who left three people in serious condition in the ICU, blamed a “freelance baker” for the preparation of Salgado. The case occurred on Tuesday (22), in the Serrano neighborhood, in the northwest of Belo Horizonte, mining capital.
According to the businessman, the employee would have worked only six days at the scene and his last appearance would have been on Sunday (20). Upon being questioned, the head of the establishment told the Military Police that he did not know the address or contact of the baker, and had no proof of transfer, as the payment was made in kind at the end of the office.
According to the Minas Gerais Civil Police, the legal representative of the bakery was taken to the police station to provide clarification. Already the baker, was not located so far.

The Belo Horizonte Sanitary Surveillance interdicted, on Tuesday (23), the bakery.
According to the City Hall, the measure was necessary since the establishment has no sanitary permit and no registration in the service to start the process for release of the document. “The City Health Surveillance Strategic Information Center (CIEVS) has been notified and monitors the situation. The Municipal Secretariat of Urban Policy informs that the Padaria’s Location and Operation Permit (ALF) is regular,” said Belo Horizonte City Hall, in a statement.
