The Don't Disturb platform ended 2023 with more than 12 million telephone numbers registered to avoid receiving telemarketing calls from telecommunications companies and those offering payroll loans. The initiative, created by telecommunications operators, in operation since 2019, is part of the sector's self-regulation measures to improve relations with consumers.
During 2023, 974,902 new numbers were added to the Não Me Perturbe telephone base, an increase of 8.8% compared to 2022. On average, there were 81,242 new registrations per month.
The Federal District has the highest proportion between the number of blocks and the number of landlines and mobile phones, 8.2% of the DF's telephone base is registered with Não Me Perturbe. In absolute numbers, São Paulo has the largest number of telephone numbers registered with Não Me Perturbe. There are 5.52 million registered telephones, totaling 6.5% of the 85 million numbers that make up the state's fixed and mobile telephone base.
“Don’t Perturbe was one of the measures adopted by operators to reduce the practice of abusive telemarketing, which in 2023 advanced with the launch of the application, making it even simpler to register numbers on the platform”, says Marcos Ferrari, executive president of Conexis Brasil Digital, which represents telecommunications and connectivity companies in the country.
