In total, eight bodies have already been released to the families of the victims of Voepass flight 2883 that crashed in Vinhedo, in the interior of São Paulo, last Friday (9).

So far, 12 bodies have been identified and seven more victims were released to their families today. One of the bodies had already been released this Sunday (11).
The agency also reported that 44 family members have already been treated at the Oscar Freire Institute, which supports and is located in a building next to the Central IML in São Paulo.
Authorities continue to conduct reconnaissance at the site, which has been closed to provide exclusive care to victims.
Around 40 professionals work on demand, including doctors, forensic dentistry, anthropology and radiology teams, assisting in the work.
The crash of the ATR 72-500 plane left 62 dead, of which 34 were men and 28 women. The aircraft was carrying 58 passengers and four crew members.
The Aeronautical Accident Investigation and Prevention Center (Cenipa) is leading the investigation and should conclude the initial expert assessment this Monday (12).
The cause of the accident is not yet known. Among some hypotheses, experts say that the accumulation of ice on the aircraft’s wings may have been a factor in the tragedy.
This is the sixth deadliest air accident in Brazilian history.
