During the investigations, the PF identified an illegal trade network of clandestinely introduced in the country or fraudulently imported. The scheme had local, interstate and international suppliers and distributors, who used illegal exchange and money laundering to legalize the profits from sales.
The investigated did not issue invoices or collect federal taxes on the large volume of postal orders received in their homes, referring to products marketed irregularly.
Influencers publicized sales through social networks and messaging applications, with prices below those practiced in the market.
In the action, more than 50 cell phones, smartwatches, tablets, notebooks, firearm and five luxury vehicles were seized. The goods were evaluated in R $ 1.8 million.
Two influencers were arrested in the act for misleading. The seized assets were sent to the IRS for tax assessment.
