The Federal Police arrested four civil police officers from Santo André (SP) suspected of charging influencing proprinas on Friday morning (25). The action is part of the third phase of Operation Latus Actio, which began in March 2024.
The police are crowded in the 6th DP of the city of ABC Paulista. Five search and seizure warrants are also served at addresses in Santo André, Mauá and the state capital.
This morning’s action is part of the PF investigation against the formation of a criminal organization, formed by civil police, to charge bribes of influencers who disseminated illegal rifles on their social networks.
In a statement, the São Paulo State Public Security Secretariat (SSP), responsible for the Civil Police, said it provides support for the PF operation.
“The Civil Police Office provides support for an operation of the Federal Police and the Public Prosecution Service to comply with pre-trial detention warrants and search and seizure on Friday morning (25).”
