The chairman of Petrobras’ Board of Directors, Márcio Weber, decided to call a meeting for next Monday (7/18) at which the Extraordinary General Meeting should be called. The names of candidates for rookies are Jonathas Assunção Salvador Nery de Castro, number 2 of the Civil House Ministry; Gileno Barreto (also appointed as Chairman of the Board of Directors), president of Serpro; Ricardo Soriano de Alencar, Attorney General of the National Treasury; Iêda Cagni, Chairman of the Board of Banco do Brasil; and Edison Antônio Costa Britto Garcia, chairman of the Board of Directors of BRB, Banco de Brasília.

Márcio Weber, current chairman of the Board of Directors, and Ruy Schneider are the veterans appointed by the government.

Minutes of the Eligibility Committee meeting will be published at the Brazilian Securities and Exchange Commission (CVM) within seven days with the result of the analysis and suggestions to minimize possible conflicts of interest of the nominees.
