“Peter Jason, one of the great actors of film characters, died. His first movie was ‘Rio Lobo’ by Howard Hawks. He was a dear friend and I will miss him so much, ”John wrote in a post on Instagram.
Collaboration between the two included titles such as “Prince of Shadows” (1987), “The City of Cursed” (1995) and “Escape from La” (1996).
Billy Zane, Jason’s longtime friend, also paid tribute on social networks.
