Actor Peter Crombie, who played the character Joe Davola on the series “Seinfeld”, died on Wednesday (10). The information was confirmed by his ex-wife, Nadine Kjiner, through an Instagram post.
Without giving details of the cause of death, Nadine paid tribute to her ex-husband and said she was in “shock” and with “extreme sadness”.
“Thank you for so many wonderful memories and for being such a good man. Fly free to the unlimited source of light, Peter”, he wished.
“So many people loved you because you were a kind, generous, caring and creative soul.”
In “Seinfeld”, Crombie gave life to a psychopathic, occasional and secondary character who appeared in the plot to persecute Jerry Seinfeld and Cosmo Kramer.

In addition to appearing in the 1990s series, the actor also played Frankstein in the miniseries “House of Frankstein” and was in productions such as “Star Trek: Deep Space Nine”, “Law & Order” and “Natural Born Killers”.
