The actor Percy Hynes Whiteknown for interpreting Xavier Thorpe on the Serie Wandinha plot, commented on the accusations of sexual harassment that involved him about four months ago.
White is accused by teenagers of copying intimate content and conversations he had with girls when he was between 17 and 20 years old. Other alleged victims reported that people were purposely drunk to have sex without consent, at parties promoted by the actor and his friends. The notes with the accusations, originally made on Twitter, are no longer available to the public.
However, in a post on social networks, the member of the series, currently 21 years old, denied the allegations and stated that he was involved in a campaign of misinformation, including death threats to family and friends.
“The rumors are false. I cannot accept that he is portrayed as fanatical or criminally negligent with people’s safety. This is the kind of harmful allegation that can create distrust towards victims. It is very distressing to know that this misinformation has been bothering people,” said White.
The actor also sent a message to friends who stayed by his side and appealed to those who still insist on accusing him.
“I’m so grateful for the people who stood by me and helped me share the facts. Harassment of my family, friends and co-workers please stop.”
It is worth remembering that the streaming service plot has been renewed and will win a second season, still without a confirmed release date and cast.
