The famous “People” magazine, an American publication that every year makes an election of the sexiest celebrities in the world, released this Tuesday (8) its chosen one: Chris Evans, 41 years old.
The actor told the magazine that he is adapting to the new title and about talking about the subject, but he said he knew that this news would delight at least one person.
“My mother will be so happy. She’s proud of everything I do, but that’s something she can really brag about.”
During the photo shoot for the publication, the Boston-born actor said he would rather jump into the fireplace on location than argue about being considered sexy.
“This whole thing is hard to talk about. Seems like a weird way to humbly brag.”
The Netflix “Hidden Agent” star is also gearing up for some good-natured jokes from her close friends.
“Really it will just be a bullying motive,” Evans said.
Best known for playing the selfless, self-sacrificing superhero Captain America in Marvel’s multibillion-dollar Avengers franchise, Evans told the magazine he feels much more comfortable talking about his career, which has caught fire over the past decade.
This year alone, he starred in Pixar’s Lightyear, “The Hidden Agent” and three other productions, and he co-directs Starting Point, the civic engagement platform he launched in 2020.
Evans told the publication that he is also thinking a lot more about his future outside of acting, which includes marriage and parenting plans.
“This is absolutely something I want. Just don’t expect him to talk too much about it when it happens.”
