Paul&Shark’s sharks conquer Cortina

From the sea to the mountains. Paul&Shark remains in its natural element, the water, and from the beach of the Tegu Beach bathing establishment to Riva Trigoso, moves its headquarters to the snows of Cortina.

For the entire duration of the winter season, in fact, with the project Paul & Shark takes Cortina, the Italian brand recognizable by the unmistakable shark logo arrives in the splendid setting of the Dolomites, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2009, branding the Squirrel Refuge and sponsoring the athletes of the Cortina Ski Club. A takeover that underlines the brand’s desire to increasingly focus on outwear, with high-performance and warm technical garments, suitable even for the most rigorous climates.

The same ones that we of Vanity we were able to wear it during a hit and run in the pearl of Ampezzo, where we were able to preview the creation of this original creative concept. The official launch, in fact, will take place on December 7th with a digital experience of 10 talents, an après-ski party at high altitude and an in-store event, virtually inaugurating the Cortina Fashion Week. A consolidation of the local presence of Paul&Shark, which since 2000 has decided to open a shop in the prestigious Corso Italia, right in the center of Cortina. A choice that today proves to be more strategic than ever, especially in view of the Winter Olympics which will be held in 2026.

The epicenter of the project is a place of the heart for those who usually visit these places, the historian Squirrel Refugea chalet set in 2255 meters close to the Cinque Torri, the statuesque cliffs that dominate the valley, which can be reached via a chairlift or snowmobile. Exposed beams, wooden tables and a terrace that offers a priceless 360° view have made it a crossroads for all the skiers and mountaineers who frequent the area over the years. Paul&Shark’s restyling begins with a giant ski mask covered in sharks, placed right next to the entrance, a selfie spots unmissable before entering the refuge. The small outdoor bar has been covered with ice-effect window decals, while cushions and blankets with stamped sharks are placed in the outdoor area, recreating an atmosphere cozy It is cozy.

Inside the chalet, the mise en place in shades of blue, the emblematic color of the brand, characterizes the entire setup: placemats, coasters, cushions and blankets are customized with the brand’s patterns, adding a sporty-chic touch to the whole the location.

To complete the operation there is also the sponsorship of the historic Cortina Ski Club: 400 athletes, from young budding skiers to professionals training for the Olympic Games, will wear customized clothing for the occasion throughout the season, including helmets in collaboration with Atomic, masks and sweatshirts with sharks printed on display.
