The “Paths of Fire ”, Gastronomy Festival in BRASA reaches its 4th edition on the day May 03 In Tiradentes, Minas Gerais.
With the objective of valuing tradition and innovation around Basa, festival features 25 prominent chefs representatives from various states, such as Chico Mancuso, Argentine and chef of Rincon, whose participation is rare in events and promises to be one of the festival’s big names; FIH FERNANDES, of the award -winning houses of São Paulo Holy Burger and Fôrno; Julia Carvalho, a prominent figure in the media specializing in meat and barbecue, internationally recognized for her participation in competitions; Mario Portella, Belo Horizonte, reference in Outdoor barbecue; Lucas Corazza, renowned confectioner who although not directly linked to the barbecue universe, brings desserts to the table that complement the gastronomic experience.
From the southern region of the country, Marcos Livi reinforces the gaucho tradition, while names such as Panhoca, Paula Labaki and Pedro Valsas, all from the São Paulo team, have variations in the hamburger and other potentialities of meat flavors. Priscila Deus, who has been ahead of big projects, now returns by the Core restaurant. Rafa Soares presents smoking techniques with his Texas Brisket.
Among the most creative proposals, Silas Gomes will present a pizza reading on the grill, while Talita Machado, Rodrigo Lieutenant, Helvecio Maciel, Marcel Golmieh, Beethoven Picui, Edvaldo Caribe, Adriano Geleia, Carol Armenio, Talita Machado, Rodolfo Mayer and Cristovão Laruça further expand the event’s experience menu.
With diverse musical attractions, including folk, blues and country rock, kids space and gastronomic stations, Guilherme Macedo, creator and organizer of the event, says that “the intention is to expand the gastronomic repertoire of people, with excellent service, high -level dishes and good and cold beer, good experimentation”.

Still as part of the festival program, on May 1st, the chef SANTI ROIG He commands the experience “Los Manos Negras”, a boning course lived by him. During the event, guests will be able to participate actively, learning preparation techniques in Parrilla and understanding each stage of the process, while enjoying a carefully elaborated authorial experimentation to accompany the protagonist piece of the night – the special cut taken directly from the boss.
In addition to gastronomic experimentation, the project is committed to social actions: on Sunday, the 4th, a charity lunch will be held with 100% of the revenue for local institutions – departs to Paes and sets out for the city’s elderly shelter. On Monday, the 5th, chef Jimmy Ogro runs a special lunch at a public school in Tiradentes, promoting inclusion and food education.
The “Caminhos de Fogo” team also works to expand the project with an annual calendar of actions aimed at an audience interested in deepening their knowledge about gastronomy of fire – and exclusive expeditions for sponsors, chefs and enthusiasts. The proposal is to keep the project active throughout the year, reinforcing its presence and relevance in the national gastronomic scenario.
