Paramore members talk about the band’s future

Hayley Williams, Taylor York and Zac Farro spoke about the future of the band Paramore. In an interview with UPROXX, the group also spoke about accompanying Taylor Swift on the singer’s next tour.

When asked about the continuation of Paramore, the three members agreed that there is a “certain uncertainty”. But they assured that if they continue with the band, they will continue to have fun.

“The only thing that matters is that we continue to be each other’s community,” said lead singer Hayley Williams.

Farro agreed: “I just hope that we can continue to build the Paramore empire and dominate the world.”

The group celebrates 20 years since its launch in 2004, in the United States.

In the interview, Paramore also talked about the group opening for Taylor Swift’s shows on the singer’s tour in Europe. “We are two artists who arrived at the same time,” says Williams. “I mean, it’s very rare to be able to last long in the music industry. It’s amazing that she managed to not only last, but to continue to become a better artist, grow her appeal. We’ve been at this for a long time and we’ve really survived a lot, whether it’s shit we caused ourselves or just the industry in general and the world in general. But being able to play with an artist like her, for me, represents how much we’re in this space and how much shit we’ve seen. Now, it’s time for some summer fun.”

The latest album released by the band is “Re: This is Why”. The album is a version of “This is Why”, also released in 2023, but with features from different artists, such as Foals and Wet Leg.
