Pamela Rook, the “queen of punk”, has died

Pamela Rook, who became a symbol of Britain punk scene, known as Jordan, died at the age of 66, defeated by a rare form of cancer.

Nick’s partner, according to the Guardian, wrote in the Brighton and Hove News: Sunday, April 3)… after a short period of illness, he succumbed to a relatively rare form of cancer, known as cholangiocarcinoma (gallbladder cancer). “Jordan was a wonderful woman and we will remember her for countless decades.”

Pamela Rook was an Englishwoman model and actress also famous for her collaborations with British fashion designer Vivienne Westwood.

With her extremely imaginative make-up and bold clothes, Rook became associated with the Sex Pistols, occasionally appearing on stage, while being their unofficial “mascot”.

“People were afraid of me and the funny thing was that I was very shy,” she said.

Jordan has left her mark on this planet, either as the “Queen of Punk” or for her veterinary work, reports the Daily Mail.
