A Palestinian teenager in the occupied West Bank was killed by Israeli forces, with the army confirming that it opened fire on two suspects, the official Palestinian Wafa news agency reported late Saturday night. 15-year-old Ashraf Khmedat was killed in an Israeli raid in the refugee camp of Aqabat-Jaber, near Jericho, according to Wafa. For its part, the Israeli military said the two suspects threw Molotov cocktails toward the neighboring Jewish settlement of Vered Jericho, endangering civilian lives as well as property. “Soldiers responded within the area by firing live rounds in the direction of the suspects,” the military said.
