Paiva and Brisola: MCS are cited in a bribery investigation to police officers

Funk singers MC Brisola, MC Paiva and GHDO7 are cited in an investigation from the São Paulo Public Prosecution Service (MPSP) and the Federal Police (PF) who led to the arrest of four civil police officers of the 6th Police District of Santo André (SP), in the third phase of Operation Latus Action, launched on Friday (25).

The operation investigates a corruption scheme in which agents charged bribes of influencers and funkeiros investigated for promoting illegal raffles on social networks.

According to MPSP, police used preliminary investigations called the VPIs verification (VPIs) to press artists to pay improper amounts, in exchange for the filing of the procedures.

The findings indicate that the police did not give formal follow -up to the cases – the intention was only to extort the targets and their lawyers.


Silas Rodrigues Santos, known as Mc Brisola, would have paid $ 20,000 – 10% of the value initially required – to interrupt an open VPI against it.

David José Xavier Paiva, known as Mc Paiva and Gustavo Henrique Ramos Toledo, the MC GHDO7 were also cited in the investigations.

According to the operation’s reports, the names of the artists appeared in folders organized by the police themselves, who maintained records, meetings of meetings with their lawyers and planned approaches for bribery collection.

Producer Love Funk, led by Henrique Alexandre Barros Vianna, the “rat”, is also mentioned as the target of approaches and part of the negotiations.

The Public Prosecution Service classified the 6th DP as a “bribery collection center” focused on extorting influencers. The findings remain under the responsibility of Gaeco and the task force to combat organized crime (Ficco-SP), with the support of the Civil Police Corregedoria.

The investigation is coordinated by the task force to combat organized crime (FICCO-SP) in partnership with the Special Action Group on the Repression of Organized Crime (Gaeco) of the São Paulo Public Prosecution Service.
