A new outrageous incident of police arbitrariness from the USA is coming to light. A police officer from California to punch a woman in handcuffs at the time of her arrest.
His colleagues try to make him stop, shouting: “No, stop!”.
THE police officer has been made available and an internal investigation has been launched into the incident, according to TMZ. His name has not been released.
The images recorded with a mobile phone show the police officer and another colleague forcibly throwing down the woman, to whom they have handcuffed. He then starts punching her in the head. A third policeman immediately reacts and tries to remove him from the woman.
Passers-by are also heard reacting as the chaotic scenes unfold, with one police officer telling him to stop, while the other shouting “no, no”. The woman curses the policeman because he hit her on the head.
An investigation is underway to determine whether charges will be brought against the officer for his violent behavior.
According to the authorities, there were signs that the suspect was under the influence and became aggressive towards the police as they waited for the ambulance.
A police officer “used violence and hit the woman twice in the face with her punch of. “Two police officers immediately intervened and escalated the situation,” a statement on the incident said.
The woman was taken to a nearby hospital and then taken to prison.
