  • Jennifer Lawrence, 2014

The following year, Jennifer Lawrence repeated the fall, this time walking on the red carpet at the 2014 Oscars.

At the 2024 event, Oscar ambassador Amelia Dimoldenberg asked Jennifer Lawrence if she had “tips” for future winners about “not falling down the stairs.”

“Well, yeah, just don’t do it,” Lawrence said. “You know, I fell the next year too. So it felt like I was 100% faking it. Oh, it was horrible”, he recalled.

  • Rami Malek, 2019

Rami Malek won the 2019 Oscar for his performance in “Bohemian Rhapsody” and, when leaving the stage after giving a speech, he ended up taking a fall. Paramedics from the event showed up to help, but the actor was uninjured.

  • Liza Koshy, 2024

Wearing sky-high heels and a long red dress, Liza Koshy slipped and fell on the red carpet at this year's Oscars. The artist got up with the help of members of the event team and was not shaken by what happened.

Still on the red carpet, Liza made fun of the moment and mentioned Jennifer Lawrence's historic moment.

“I'm joining a legendary group of women like J.Law who hit the carpet,” she said, “I took advantage of that. I thought 'Wait a minute, I'm not nominated, I'm not presenting, I have to fall.”
