Located in the themed area of Tomorrowland, the attraction is listed as the fastest roller coaster at a company theme park – the podium is contested together with the sister roller coaster located at Disneyland in Shanghai, China.
named after Tron Lightcycle/Run the attraction is based on science fiction films tron whose first feature was released in 1982. The sequel hit theaters 28 years later, in 2010.
With futuristic visuals, the roller coaster reaches almost 97 km/h and combines visual effects and music on a 910-meter path that passes through indoor and outdoor environments.
You Seats have a motorcycle-like design , where passengers can lean forward throughout the adventure. The vehicles are also equipped with audio and lighting.
It took over 3,800 pieces of steel weighing approximately 1,900 tons to create the attraction. The external part of the toy also draws attention: the coverage covers more than 4,600 square meters, reaches 32 meters in height and has more than 1,200 lights.
