The action conducted by the Rio de Janeiro Civil Police takes place in six states and is called safe adolescence, articulated by the Directorate of Integrated Operations and Intelligence (Diopi), from the National Secretariat of Public Security (Senasp), through the Cyber Operations Laboratory (CIBERLAB).
The focus is on the repression of criminal practices that endangered vulnerable young people in various regions of the country.
The investigation revealed that the group was organized virtually through encrypted platforms such as Discord and Telegram, where they promoted challenges and competitions to engage adolescents in collective self -mutilation, animal cruelty and hatred incitement, even foster discussions about potential violent attacks. As a stimulus, internal rewards were offered to those who stood out in criminal activities.
Operation is fulfilled 20 search and seizure warrants, 2 of temporary arrests and 7 provisional hospitalization measures of adolescents offenders.
Simultaneous actions took place in Mato Grosso do Sul, Santa Catarina, Sao Paulo, Paraná, Rio Grande do Sul, Minas Gerais and Goiás.
