Operation arrests group suspected of receiving stolen goods and corrupting minors in PE

A police operation in São Lourenço da Mata, in the metropolitan region of Recife, resulted in the arrest of three adults and the apprehension of two teenagers, suspected of being part of a criminal organization involved in receiving stolen goods and corrupting minors.

The action was part of the “Integrated Rapid Response Impact Operation”, carried out jointly by the Military and Civil Police of Pernambuco, on Wednesday (11). The objective was to combat crime in the municipality through preventive and repressive actions, such as patrols and approaches to vehicles and pedestrians.

The operation involved 65 military police officers, including officers and enlisted men. During the operation, the Civil Police arrested two men, aged 20 and 42, and a woman, aged 18, for the crimes of criminal association, corruption of minors and receiving stolen goods. A 17-year-old teenager was also arrested for the offense.

In addition, a second teenager was arrested for an offense equivalent to drug trafficking. 48 portions of marijuana and 31 pieces of crack cocaine were found with him. All those involved were taken to the São Lourenço da Mata Police Station.
