The Italian newspaper La Stampa reports in today’s article that the Italian Prime Minister Mario Draghithe French President Emanuel Macron and the German Chancellor Olaf Solts will travel to Kyiv on Thursday 16 June.
ΤSaturday and the German newspaper Bild am Sonntag wrote that the three leaders will travel to the Ukrainian capital before the upcoming G7.
Mario Draghi is already out of Italy, specifically in Israel, where he will meet today with the President of the State of Israel, Isaac Herzog, and tomorrow with the Palestinian Prime Minister, Mohammad Shtayyeh.
It is noted that there has been no official announcement from the Italian Government so far regarding the trip to Kyiv. According to La Stampa, he was ordered “not to leak anything for security reasons” but the newspaper emphasizes that he learned the date and “received confirmation after a crossroads with Berlin and Paris”.
