The reconstruction starts from the late afternoon of November 26, 2010 when Yara Gambirasio disappeared. For the Nove Racconta cycle, twelve years after the disappearance of the 13-year-old from Brembate, Nove proposes the docuseries in two parts On the trail of the killer. The Yara case, broadcast on December 1st and 8th at 21.25 in the first exclusive TV on the Nove and available in preview on Discovery +. The series traces the stages of the story, the hope of being able to find her and bring her home, the discovery of her body in February 2011 and the search for the murderer.
Different voices participate in the story: members of the police forces who took part in the investigation at the time, carabinieri dei Ris di Parma, journalists from national and local newspapers who at the time followed the case, criminologists and DNA scientists.
