Iran's presidential election will be held on June 28, the country's state television announced tonight, following the death of Foreign Minister Ibrahim Raisi and his entourage in a helicopter crash on Sunday. “The election timetable was approved” at the meeting held by the heads of the judiciary, government and parliament, the television reported. “With the consent of the Guards Council, it has been decided that the 14th presidential election will be held on June 28,” he added.
