Singer Wanessa Camargo and model Yasmin Brunet, both from the group Camarote in Big Brother Brasil 2024, are vegans (they do not eat anything of animal origin).
One of the difficulties of reality TV tends to be food, dividing people into those who can eat everything and those who need to ration.
Furthermore, Wanessa has already declared that she doesn't know how to cook, that she knows how to make at most an omelet, but that she won't do it for “ethical reasons”.
Yasmin owns a brand of cruelty-free beauty products (products that are made without testing on animals), something in line with the philosophy of veganism.
Other vegans
This is not the first time that a vegan person has been through the BBB.
In last year's edition, actress Bruna Griphao, who became known, among other things, for smoking a lot, also took great care of her diet and said she was vegan.
In BBB 22, sister Maria was not vegan (with total restrictions on products of animal origin), but she was vegetarian, that is, she did not eat meat.
Unlike vegans, vegetarians are people who accept eating, for example, eggs and milk.
