The 2021 Sustainable Development Report is published by Nova – Wind, consistently implementing for the 2nd consecutive year the sustainable development strategy “25 Goals for 2025”. In the report, the company describes the impact of its activities on the market, society and the environment, while recording the goals and measures it takes, as well as the selected performance indicators that it uses to direct its actions.
Highlights of the last 12 months:
In 2021 the company made significant progress in its goals related to the environment, society and governance (ESG) that it has set for 2025 and specifically
– 91.86% increase in customer satisfaction rate (CSAT)
– 94.2% increase in the percentage of costs to local suppliers
– Development of Internet of Things (IoT) synergies and services for the protection of the environment and biodiversity, and the adoption of sustainable practices
– Establishment of the “W for Women” initiative and a program to upgrade women’s skills in the field of STEM
– Participation in the S&P International Sustainable Development Index, Corporate Sustainable Assessment 2021 (CSA)
Joining for the second time in “The most sustainable companies in Greece” for 2022
The actions that stood out last year:
Benaki Museum creation of the first 5G museum in Greece. Strategic cooperation for the creation of the first 5G museum in Greece. Through WIND’s new generation networks, the Museum is increasing its digital capacity to promote its cultural work.
– Meropeio Foundation a building a living example of a circular economy. Windan took over a building ready to be demolished and gave it back to the city and society. Materials were reused and modern practices were incorporated to extend the life of the building, to upgrade its energy with new generation, environmentally friendly materials.

The Exhibition covers the period from January 1, 2021 to December 31, 2021. It is the 14th in a row Sustainable Development Exhibition (the first was published in 2008). This report has been prepared based on the international standards GRI (Global Reporting Initiative) and SASB (Sustainability Standards Accounting), while it covers all the essential issues as identified by Wind and its Stakeholders. The content of the Sustainability Analysis, Principles and Sustainable Development Goals as defined by the United Nations Global Compact Standard and Agenda 2030 respectively have been taken into account in determining the content. In addition, the Company’s Internal Audit Department conducted an audit to validate the data.
