New Year’s Eve Thousand Smiles – Japaratinga, Alagoas
New Year’s Eve Mil Sorrisos takes place in Japaratinga, in Alagoas, well known for its lush natural pools. It is located just 10km from the famous Maragogi.
The program runs until January 2nd and features shows that will take place during the day and at night. New Year’s Eve Trancoso – Bahia
Celebrating 15 years, New Year’s Eve in Trancoso, Bahia, promises to maintain the tradition of recent editions. The ‘Rota Ecológica de Milagres’ is made up of three main municipalities in Alagoas: Passo de Camaragibe (14,763 inhabitants); São Miguel dos Milagres (8,013 inhabitants) and Porto das Pedras (8,419 inhabitants). The result of the union of these cities is the formation of 23km of beautiful beaches.
The two closest major airports are Maceió, 94.4km away (approximately 1h30), and Recife, 196km away (approximately 3h30). The tip for the end of the year and big holidays is to rent a car from rental companies close to the airport. It is also possible to pre-book a transfer that will meet you at the airport.
