New Year's Eve 2023, all the ordinances against midnight explosions

Everything is ready for the most anticipated countdown of the year. There are just a few hours left until midnight New Year 2023 which will allow us to officially enter the new year and the cities are preparing to best manage the celebrations ready to explode in the squares and streets of Italy. Like every year, the mayors, from North to South, have signed various ordinances to ensure that the celebrations can take place in the safest way possible.

Same ban also on Naples (pepper spray is also prohibited here), Bologna, Florence, Bari, Verona, Mantua, Palermo. In Milan, however, it is not possible for the Municipality to ban barrels, given the TAR ruling last September in favor of traders who had opposed the environmental measures envisaged as early as 2021.
