At least 57 citizens died in attacks allegedly carried out by paramilitary forces of the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) in the city of El Fasser, western Sudan. El Fasser is considered a strategic area in the Darfur province. The news is broadcast by the French News Agency (AFP), citing testimonies of residents and health workers. According to the same sources, on Wednesday, there were fierce clashes between the Sudanese army and DYA paramilitaries in the area. In a statement from the Army, the death toll is 62, including fifteen children aged 3-10.
