New Home Sales in the US rose 1% on a monthly basis in July to a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 708,000, data released jointly by the US Census Bureau and the Department of Housing and Urban Development showed on Tuesday. This reading followed June’s 26% contraction and was better than the market’s expectation of a 2.7% drop.
“Median sales price of new homes sold in July 2021 was $ 390,500. Median sales price was $ 446,000,” the publication reads.
