Brazil faces the seventh heat wave this year starting this Monday (23). The high temperatures should last until Friday (27), according to Climatempo.
The forecast is for very dry weather, with air humidity considered “very low”. In addition to health concerns, there is concern about an increase in fire outbreaks that will affect all regions of the country.
The new heat wave is caused by a atmospheric blockade in the central region of Brazil, which prevents the formation of heavy clouds and makes it difficult for cold fronts to pass through. The blockage favors heat and increases the mass of hot air.
The hot weather will continue until the end of this week, with the possibility of it continuing. See the regions that are expected to experience higher temperatures.

In some regions the temperature should be 5°C to 10°C above average:
- São Paulo
- Rio de Janeiro
- Mining Triangle
- South of Goiás
- Mato Grosso
In other places the increase is moderate, with temperatures 3°C to 5°C above normal. They are:
- South of Minas Gerais
- Goias
- Tocantins
- Mato Grosso
- Rondônia
- South of Amazonas
- Southern part of Acre
- Araraguai and Carajás region in Pará
In some regions, climate instability reduces temperatures from the 26th onwards, including:
